Worst product ever! You have to buy a new one under 2 years because after the first year, the box stops working. Simply a money making scheme!! Shame on you World Max Tv. Ripoff!!!!!

I have been using this box since 4 years this is ny second box. First one started hanging and after 2 years these people asked me to purchase a new one as the box is out of warranty and can’t be fixed or updated, as they have launched a new box. We bought another box for $290 or $300+ and now it’s been a year this one started hanging too. You tube not working, serials not playing, and when I call them they r not picking my calls nor calling back. Worst service just trying ways to earn more money. Never but this box

For past many months i have been chasing Worldmax to fix my problem.
This is not been done till today.
I had wasted FJD800.00 to get the product from Australia to Fiji.
can i get this refunded

The present box which the seller says that it is a better quality is actually worse than the previous box(had this for over 2 years). The present one doesn’t run smoothly at all, it hangs and hangs and hangs...gets frustrating and disappointing!
The customer service team is also not helpful as you ring them every time and have to explain them the same thing over and over but no solution at all...also they never pick up the phone...sometimes they ring you back and sometimes no response...we feel we are wasting our time and our money...
I seriously question the credibility and existence of this business.

Didn’t even work properly for a year. Stopped working altogether now. We had it for couple of years, Waisted my $250. Useless. Very disappointed. The unit is not reliable. Tried to contact the person, no response. Throwing it away.

I've had this product since 2016 and now they have forced an update to all quad core world max devices which renders them useless. The application live tv (process com.mytv.livetv) has stopped unexpectedly. The android system also shuts off randomly every few minutes.
I called customer service and the guy said your hardware is no longer supported and out of warranty. I asked for his full name in order to provide to ACCC but he refused and hung up.

One time payment - Totally wrong. We have purchased this box 3 years ago and asking us to purchase new.

Features/controls and performance are okay.

Unit is UNRELIABLE. Since 25 March, 2020 TV shows, knowingly or unknowingly have been replaced without any warning. Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya are the two shows we watch. Both replaced by new ones - Baarish and Kahne Ko Humsafar respectively. Why??????

I've bought worldmax TV box recently as forcefully want me to buy upgraded TV box but that's also not working well. Too much buffering with TV serials and Movies. Tried to call support service and call at anytime day or night, it always goes into message that all operators are busy, leave your number. Infact they have no operators I believe. I think need to make complaint to ACCC as these guys are making all buyers fool in Australia.
Absolutely rubbish... DO NOT BUY it unless you've spare money to waste. Better to donate same money to some poor people instead.

When I first got this box it was great. But now there is no more Fiji News no more Fiji movies There are now so many empty catagories its not worth turning the box on and waiting the nearly 10mins for it to start up and become responsive

Bought the box few years ago. Know it just shuts down every minute. Does not update new movies.
What a scam. ACCC should interviene and also fine the dealers that are selling it in Australia.

Half of the channels don't work or hangs in between. They do not respond to calls and never provide any customer service. You need to have a lot of patience to operate the box. The picture quality is average as they can provide 4k resolution.
